I have a RePlayTV (like a tivo). This is a smart VCR (it uses a hard drive, no tape, and uses a tv guide like service, to make plans to record shows). You look up the show you want, and tell it to record it. Watch your TV shows at your convenience. Fast forward through the all commercials. Back up, if you miss what some one said!  Or, if you like a particular, actor or actress, add there name. Example: Kristy McNichol (not the porn star (poor Kristy)...
 

TV Show names, why I like the show, and other comments (who I'd most like to meet (the Actors. I will usually put the charters name, not the actors real name (for now, time):

Anything, science related.

The West Wing. The Washington, I wish we had. (Donna Moss, CJ, Ainsley Hayes, Elsie Snuffin, Sam Seaborn, Leo McGarry (Who?)...
The 70's show.  Sorta a spoof, look back at the late 1970's. It's really funny. (Donna Pinciotti (Who?) I sure wish she lived next to me!!!.
Monk. A Funny detective show. Showing that gifted people are often eccentric (He's OCD).
Keen Eddie.  A funny detective show. Sorta pokes fun of the British.
JAG.  Sorta a Military detective show about Military Court, attorneys. (Sarah MacKenzie (Who?).
Navy NCIS. A spin-off on JAG. Vary similar. Focuses more on the frensics. Has, Mark Harmond in it, who I think is cool. (Abby Sciuto (play's a criminalist (Who?).
Mail Call. People write in asking this actor/ military guy (Gunny), questions about anything military. This often allow this guy to go shoot up a watermelon with a weapon of some sort, or drive a tank, etc...
Please don't misinterpret, that I'm totally into the military, as I am not. These shows are interesting...

The View. If your totally macho, you probably wont like this talk show. Its a talk show from a (modern) female point of view; But not a nazi feministesto, pov. (Lisa Ling, past host (Who?).
Ellen Degeneres Show. She's sooo funny...
Howard Stern.

Anything, Star Trek related. (Anyone. Especially, T'Pol (Who?) from Enterprise NX-01).
X-Files.

Car shows related, (PowerBlock) TrucksTV, Horse PowerTV, Auto Motor and Sport TV, Overhaulin'(Courtney Hansen (Who?), Rides, etc.

MTV or VH1 (I like music)...
